If you have to go on a job interview abroad, you may be entitled to benefits. This applies to the whole world, not just within the EU / EEA. The time of the job interview must be confirmed by either the arbetsförmedling or the interviewing company.

Benefits from us on the day of the interview

You will receive benefits for the day you attend the job interview. We assess on a case-by-case basis whether time before or after the interview qualifies for benefits.

  • If it is a long journey to the interview, benefits can be provided for an additional day before and/or after.
  • If the job interview takes place at a time of day that requires arriving/departing on a different day than the day the interview is held, benefits can also be provided.

You can receive compensation from the arbetsförmedling 

The arbetsförmedling can grant compensation for the journey and stay. Contact your employment agency for more information.

Upload documents before you go
